Arielle. The Young Rescuer. Goes to Belarus

My name is Arielle Leeman and I am 13 years old. I am lucky enough to have been selected as one of seven to represent our country at the Young Rescuers International Rally held in Belarus. For the past few months I have been learning and training with my teammates preparing to compete in basic life safety competitions. I can’t wait to have the opportunity to see some of the cultural and historic sites as well as make lasting friendships with others from around the world! Thanks for following!

Opening Ceremonies

The first day we arrived, each of the teams did a special marching for the officials that were there. There were international teams, and then also a national competition of different regions within Belarus that were part of the opening ceremonies.

We carried our flags, and signs with our countries name on it, like they do in the Olympics.
